Personal Work: online portfolio
After christmas I made a few resolutions and one of them was to put myself out there more with my photography. For example, start shooting for people! I photographed a wedding a couple of years ago and just from that one day I learnt a lot about experience, different shot types which show someones special day and most importantly how responsible it makes you as a photographer to make sure you get it absolutely right. Luckily it was just a friend who wanted photos of the day, nothing professional and therefore gave me the opportunity to gain the experience.
Later in my future once I've completed university ideally I'd like to become a free-lance photographer working for myself. I'm particularly interested in photographing weddings but I also wouldn't mind doing baby shoots, family portraits, passport photos and other general areas.
Now that I am learning so much more at university I feel I have gained a lot more skill and am happy to send out information out about myself and work for people to get in touch with me.
So I've created a very basic website including the wedding shoot, personal work and work completed during university projects. I'd like to show a range of areas that I've photographed in so that clients can see more of a variety in case it's not what they're looking for.
I'm overall pleased with my website but have much more to show for just yet. Only a small amount of my work is published at the moment.
I'm also feeling very motivated this year after receiving the results from my first project. I felt I achieved a good mark but now want to push myself and receive even higher for this next project.
