Cross Course Collaboration: Text and mood boards

MINIMALISM

Working with a group of 6, 3 photography, 2 film and 1 fashion who like/ produce work in different areas has provided us with a wide range to collab with. It's great to see such variation and it would be great to see each individuals style present within the final outcome.

After meeting together once we'd discovered our groups we spoke about obvious things, i.e: contact information, style of work we produce/ interests us and what text we'd like to respond to. We then decided to go away and meet up the following day with a mood-board presenting ideas of the work we're interested in and any ideas for the work based around minimalism. We felt it was a good starting point as we can all feed from each others ideas.

I put together a mood board showing minimalistic photographs which I liked and the work of photographers such as William Eggleston which I felt had an element of minimalism. 

As for show of my personal interests, documentary photography, portraiture, etc. is all available on my Pinterest which I create many folders for each subject/ photographer that I'm interested in... I will make sure this is available to the other students within the group so that they have an idea of my personal interests within photography.
