Cross Course Collaboration: Work so far...

Unfortunately we struggled to get one day where we were all available, therefore we had to give each person/ smaller group a job to complete individual tasks to build up to the final piece.
  • Kirsty is in charge of editing
  • Eloise, Jade and myself are photographing one half for the #oneminutesquare
  • Isaac and Faye are photographing the other half
  • Eloise is putting together the music
  • Faye is recording voice overs
  • I'm putting together the Instagram feed
Some have more to do than others, however each individual with the extra job offered due to personal interest and availability. Even though this is the case the group as a whole has been extremely helpful and supportive in decision makings. For example I may be putting the Instagram page together I've asked for everyone else to send me their mood boards with text explaining what their initial ideas were. They've also optioned to edit their own photos of the model they had picked for the day they shot on to also send over to me. In the end the job will be fairly easy, I'm pretty much in charge of making the page look presentable and suitable within the theme of diversity and fashion.

So far we are all pretty pleased with the outcome. Isaac put together a rough cut from the images and footage he and Faye took during last week so that we could get an idea of what we are working towards. This was very useful, as we could have either really liked where everything was heading or not at all. Go to the link below to watch the clip.

Whats great about this project is networking with one another. Especially for myself working with two students that I'd never worked alongside or spoken to before. I'm still meeting students across my course therefore it's great to get to know a few more faces and perhaps useful in the future if in need of an assistant/ opinion or helping hand.

The next few images are what we received from Monday's shoot. The models were a great help and definitely show diversity between themselves with their very distinct styles and personalities.
