Cross Course Collaboration: Meeting & Agreeing

We met this morning and revealed our mood boards, showing some thoughts and ideas we had on minimalism. The first meeting was very successful and within an hour we'd managed to sort out the subject, jobs per person, location, days to shoot and when we can meet to put the whole thing together, setting ourselves deadlines so that we can meet the final deadline on the 21st March.

Planning came together exceptionally well and quick. We managed to settle everything within an hour, aside having the group chat to also converse further thoughts. As one person discussed their ideas we all started to converse and feed off each other. It was great to see ideas bouncing around the table piecing together one idea. Everyone seems confident in what they have to do and the idea settled so I'm very much looking forward to the final outcome.

Diversity was agreed as we discussed that we wanted to photograph fashion with a meaning. Male and female models of all ethnicities will be photographed and dressed to how they feel most expresses themselves.
There would be a juxtaposition of extravagant clothing against a clean background to emphasise fashion in the most minimal way. Therefore location is really important here, as not only do we need a clean background but we also need to consider the colour pallet between the two.

Due to restriction of free time on the timetable for each student we've decided to split the group and assign a job to each person. Eloise, Jade and I are working on half of the images and footage on Monday. Planning models and locations. Faye and Isaac are working on the second half of images and footage. Eloise and Isaac are working on the music, leaving Kirsty to edit the stills and moving image into one clip. At the minute it seems that one or two students have more to do than others within the group, however it seemed that their availability and knowledge in music, film and photography worked well for what we had planned and they seemed happy enough to do so.
