Show & Tell

I pretty much received the same feedback as I'd collected the previous week from the group crit. However there was a few extra students who hadn't seen my work which they were able to contribute their thoughts and opinions.
With the two images that I presented during the show and tell, they suggested I watched my colour palette. As I wanted to reflect more comfort than pain throughout my images of remembrance they felt the colours and their tones didn't match.
I'd already experimented with 3 different lens' for the images I'd taken so far: 50mm, 18-55mm and 90mm tilt shift. Within my images I'm trying to create this soft focus around the objects and therefore I was advised to try a longer lens (200mm lens) to bring in that shallow depth of field.
A student commented on how the soft focus can relate with memory, as it's never remembered the same and therefore becomes a blur at times.
