Upcoming Jobs: August planning
I'm very grateful to have supportive family and friends that help me throughout my practise. If it wasn't for them I wouldn't have as much confidence or experience in photography. Last year I was given the opportunity to photograph a friends newborn. It was so fun and interesting to do as obviously newborns aren't so easy to put into position and you have to be very patient with the process. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would love to continue experimenting and learning more about how to position them delicately.
This summer I have a pregnancy shoot and a birthday party to photograph. I'd not long ago photographed a birthday party and they were thrilled with the results. As I continue to do small favours and small jobs it gives me so much confidence and experience guiding me closer towards the free-lancer that I would eventually like to be.
As I've already mentioned most of my jobs are for family and friends and sometimes friends of theirs. Even though I know these people fairly well who I have photographed for before the process for me is still pressuring as I fear they won't want to hurt my feelings by telling me the truth (which I owuld rather obviously!). Some have been honest which I appreciate massively because it has helped me greatly.
