Assisting a professional photographer

So... after FINALLY plucking up the courage to email a photographer I managed to get myself in on a styled bridal shoot; and I'm so glad I did! It was pretty tiring but so much fun. It started at 11am and I had to meet the team at Hoveton Hall in Hourning. The place was massive and the perfect venue for a wedding! There was so much land and building to photograph with.

When I arrived at 11am there was florists and stationary working together putting up the table decorations outside. The table featured candles, plates, flowers, small plants, a table number, decorative name displays and food menus. It all looked very elegant and far from a traditional wedding display.
Inside there was a model having her hair and makeup done. There was also a lady from a cake shop who was having some images taken of her cakes amongst the set up.

I believe they were all there as part of their own business' working together to have their work published within a wedding magazine. I was very gutted to find out I couldn't show my images I'd taken during the day until the work had been published but hopefully it won't be too long until I'm able to!

Georgia was lovely and very confident. I was so relieved as I'd been so nervous worrying about it! Everyone involved was very welcome and letting me join in. I thought at first I'd be watching from the side but in the end they let me photograph alongside Georgia and get involved which was great! I was taking note of her as she went about photographing her models and objects. She asked me from time to time what I thought and if I could suggest a set up for her.

I was completely shattered at the end of it all. I didn't expect it to be as tiring and considering I wasn't doing the hard work either! Just their to enjoy and experience what its like.
